ALISON ACASTER
Born and raised in England, Alison was bitten by the performing bug at an early age. She grew up loving musicals and sang in the school choir from age 6. She played the violin in the school orchestra, unable (at that time) to read the music, instead playing by ear. She dabbled in many instruments from recorder, guitar, and piano but singing was her passion. Once a teen she enrolled in singing lessons and competed in local music festivals before moving to Los Angeles at age 22 and forming an original power pop band. Alison's music was featured in the movies Soul Mates, Geoff Shot His Car and in the MTV show Undressed. She played the clubs of Los Angeles for 10 years before shifting into acting gear.
Alison studied acting for 5 years with Jeffrey Marcus and graduated from The Second City, Hollywood, where she crafted comedy sketches through the art of improvisation. She has dabbled in many mediums including film, theatre, and stand-up comedy, and brings her love of music, laughter and performance into her lessons.

Lessons available Monday - Friday noon - 8pm / Sunday 11am - 4pm.
